Hello!

My name is Aleisha. I am Australian and I am learning Irish. I am married to an Irish Kerryman and would really like to pass on the language to our two children as well as hopefully teach in Ireland one day using the language as I am currently a Primary School teacher. Just wondering if there is anyone in North Queensland who is learning the language? It is a long shot but you don’t know unless you ask....

I love that you are so enthusiastic about passing on the Irish language to your children. I have just completed my Irish exam as a teacher from the UK. I would suggest looking at the Irish Language Requirement with the Merino Institute in Dublin regarding the OCG, its a lot of work but looking ahead would be in your best interests.
